What happens when I receive a call on my iPhone?

We are often asked what happens if a call is received or whether you still can make a call while your iPhone (3G, 3GS, 4G, and 4GS) is connected (docked) to the iMIV.  The answer is yes.

When you have the iPhone docked to the iMIV and are playing your tunes, all the other (non-iPod) functions are still available.

So when a call comes in, the music will pause, and the conversation will be either picked up by the iPod directly or via the BlueTooth kit you have paired with your iPhone. Currently, there is no possibility to direct the audio portion through your radio speakers via the iMIV.

Similarly when you place a call the same happens; your music will pause and only resume once the call has been terminated.

Please note:

The music pausing is only applicable for iPhones.  Calls received on iPhones that are not docked, or non iPhone devices will not pause your music.
