MII LE - Front Mount Package

The MII LE Front Mount Package is intended for vehicles that do not have a factory RTI system and are not Melbus prepped.

The Front Mount Package is completely plug and play and includes all the cables needed to install the MII LE in the front of the vehicle. Common places are under the passenger seat and behind the glove box. It is recommended that the audio cable be routed to the center console for easy access.

Firmware

The firmware on the MII LE will determine which 'source' on your radio the iPod/iPhone input will appear on. By default, we install the CDC. CDC firmware means that to play iPod audio/video you need to switch to the CD-Changer (CDC) source on your radio.

Unfortunetly, the CDC Channel does not support TEXT display. So in order to display song/artists/playlist text, you need to install the SAT or MDC firmware. The options shown to the left will work with the radio you selected in the 'car configuration' step.

You can download this firmware from our website for free (Downloads/Firmware section) and install it yourself OR for a small fee you can have us pre-install it for you.
