Firmware directly to your iPhone
As the title says we now can offer iMIV firmware directly to your iPod. To make this possible we are using a new file format that is compatible with our firmware upload processor in the iMIV.
It used to be that you had to download the new firmware file (zipped), unzip, add to your iTunes libary, and link with a playlist, with a final step to synch with your iPhone or iPod.
Now all you need to do is use your Safari browser, login to our iMIV.ca site, and download the required file directly to your iPod Touch or iPhone.
The file includes album art that clearly shows the firmware version and type ( 2.05.00 MDC-TV, for example)
The downside is that these files are BIG! 10 Mb + so if you are on a lower bandwidth plan, choose the compressed file version ~ 500Kb.
